My Miscellaneous income is showing as a negative number. how do I know how much is allocated to NYS?

If it is attributable to New York you will allocate as New York income.  However, if the negative amount is for New York Unemployment- the negative is the adjustment for the exclusion on the federal return.  

TurboTax calculations have not been updated for New York. If you haven’t filed your return, you can either:

• Wait for TurboTax to be updated along with your state, or
• File your return now and potentially amend later if they do not follow the federal guidelines.
