My husb. works in Ky but lives in IN and I marked this on my Fed return. It shows up that I need to file KY state but I know I don't because of reciprocity.
I think I should have marked "no" to the question on my fed return about working in another state. I don't want Ky coming after me when I don't need to file a Ky return. Thank you

You're correct. If all your husband's KY income is W-2 wages subject to withholding, he doesn't have to file a KY return. His income is taxable only in IN.
Go back to the Personal Info section and answer "No" to the question about having earnings in another state.
**Answers are correct to the best of my ability but do not constitute tax or legal advice.
