When you put in ur county make sure it is capitalized and only has for example Alameda that is it
I have the same issue. The county (Los Angeles for me) is in a drop down menu. It was rejected by the state e-file system because it must be properly capitalized (Los Angeles). Weird, because it was that way in the drop down menu, so I called Turbotax help and they couldn't figure out what was wrong. I printed it and it printed the county in all capital letters (LOS ANGELES). I found no way to change it in the software. Hence the rejection. Seems like a Turbotax compatibility / error check issue.
