Moved from OR to WI last year and RSU vesting tax

I moved from OR to WI last year and there was an RSU vest after the move. On my W2 the after-move vest has been reported as both OR (based on allocation ratio) and WI (full amount) income. Moreover there is some CA income (from RSU vest) before I moved to WI and that is included in OR income in W2.

I will be filing part-year resident for both OR and WI and non-resident for CA.

I think I would get the credit from OR for CA/OR double income and credit from WI for WI/OR double income. Is that correct? If yes, what order should I start State taxes in TurboTax for it to be able to calculate the credit? CA -> OR -> WI?

Yes, you are correct. You would get the credit from OR for CA/OR double income and credit from WI for WI/OR double income. The credit for taxes paid to another state is always taken on the resident state.

For part year residency in your situation you may have to help with manual entry because with the third state involved it gets complicated for any tax software. For this reason the order may not matter. Prepare for any manual entry by knowing the income taxed to each state and the income that belongs to each part year resident state, as well as CA nonresident income.  Also have the tax liability ready for each state (total tax line on the state).

In your case, any income received attributable to Oregon (OR) residency and tax required to be paid to OR  and California (CA) before the move would be a credit on your part year OR return.  Any income and tax paid to OR for the nonresident period will be a credit on the Wisconsin (WI) return. I might do the WI last if it were me.
