Moved Back to Virginia Mid-December

Hello TT Community / Team Member,

I am unsure if I need to file Virginia State Taxes.

During 2021, I lived in Missouri to attend school throughout the entire year until mid-December which is when I moved back to Virginia.

For the remainder of December 2021, I was unemployed, lived with family, and did not pay any other expenses involving a home, vehicle, medical, etc.

Should I skip the Virginia State Taxes and only do Missouri?

Thank you

Yes, you do not need to file a return for Virginia. If your Virginia income was more than $11,950 you would be required to file a return.

Thank you very much. Less concerns for me. 😄
