When will Missouri Tax form MO-A be updated? Part 3 - Section A "Public Pension Calculation" has been amended for 2024 and the form in TurboTax does not show the updated form. Hence it is giving incorrect calculations.

I will answer my own question. Form MO-A is scheduled to be updated on 1-30-24.

MO-A is broken after the update. It's not totaling the exemption amounts applying $0 to MO-1040
You are correct. MO-A is broken and does not properly add results from Section A, line 5, Section B, line 9 and Section C, line 4 into Section D (Total Exemption). As a result the amount transferred to MO-1040, line 8 can be incorrect. I hope turbotax fixes this or there may be thousands of users (especially ones with public or private pensions) that will file inaccurate Missouri returns. I told turbotax about this but no idea if they will do anything. Meanwhile, I will have to look to use a different tax software vendor for my return.
Here is an FAQ: Why is Form MO-A Section D calculating incorrectly? You can sign up here for updates.
My MO state tax return has been rejected because of the problems associated with Form MO-A Section D. This is my first time using Turbo Tax and I must say that I am disappointed with it. There hasn't been any updates about when the problem will be fixed, assuming it will be. I think I'll have to refile with another tax company and just lose the money I paid to file.
I have the same feeling. I believe there are hundreds, or maybe even thousands of people affected by this error on MO-A. If they have a public pension and the filing goes through the return will be wrong to their detriment. Some will never know about that and get screwed. Turbo Tax certainly has failed this time.
My state tax return was rejected several times after using Turbo Tax. Yes, there is a problem with Form MO-A Section D. I don't want updates, I want the software problem to be fixed immediately. I have not received any updates after signing up which probably indicates that this issue is low priority. Do we get reimbursed for state tax filing if this problem is not fixed shortly?
Seems Turbo tax released an update today (Feb 6th) that fixed the MO-A form calculations.
it isn't fixed though, because I went in and fixed the error it had me fix and my return still is getting rejected. Just the State return, and I re-run the accuracy check and tt says there are no errors, yet the state return continues to reject.
I'm not aware of this being fixed yet. Here is an FAQ: Why is Form MO-A Section D calculating incorrectly? You can sign up here for updates.
Today's update (Feb 6) (MAC Desktop Version) changed something. The calculations on my MO return (not yet filed) changed significantly after updating. I have not went manually and checked the calculations on MO-A yet. So, I don't know what to believe.
I talked to a turbo tax rep and she said the updated they did was only for people who had bought the software. I just use the free file online, and I guess that hasn't been updated yet.
This message from Turbo Tax was sent to my email this morning. However when I click on the follow the instructions when signed in it takes me to a page that says "You do not have sufficient privileges for this resource or its parent to perform this action. Click your browser's Back button to continue." WHAT A MESS.
