I validated that the software is up to date as of 7:45am this morning.
During final review of Missouri tax form, I am getting a message about the Long Term Care premium deduction:
Check This Entry: Long-Term Care Insurance Deduction Wks: MO Long-Term Care Premium deduction is not ready for filing at this time. You must obtain an update before you file your return in order to ensure that all calculations are correct.
Questions:
When is this info expected to be available?
Is there a way to proceed with filing my federal taxes electronically and hold off on state? (I've always filed both at the same time.)

The Long Term Care Insurance Deduction is a new change for 2021. After taking a look at the instructions for the MO Individual Income Tax form, it appears that there is not a specific form required for this deduction. That means that the TurboTax forms availability article will not give an expected date that it will be ready. It does appear that the next major update may be around 2/10/2021.
For your reference, here is a link to the State Forms Availability information.
Also, using a CD/downloaded version of TurboTax, you should be able to file your Federal return without choosing to file your state return. As you go through the File section you can select to file your state later.
If you are using TurboTax Online, take a look at the following article for more information about your options:
Can I file my federal taxes now and skip my state for later?

Thank you for the explanation! I was able to file just Federal taxes and I will check for Turbo Tax updates next week. Appreciate the quick reply.
