Both the Resident and Nonresident PTE credits can be entered on the Take a look at Maryland credits screen. Click through the MD state return until you come to that page. Once you enter the amounts of PTE credit from your K-1, the amounts will flow to Line 43 of Form 502. They are under the Business & Investments credits.
TurboTax does support 502CR. Go back to the Step-by-step interview and enter the amounts of either resident or nonresident PTE credit and TurboTax will add the form to your return.
What credit are you trying to take? When you go through the Maryland state return, you will come to a screen titled Take a look at Maryland credits. Most of the credits in on 502CR are entered from that page. If you are asking about a different credit, one that is not listed, please ask. Credits you have taken and can edit are listed up top and unused credits are listed. Click Start next to the credit you need to take.
this is a credit from form 502CR, that turbo tax does not support which is very frustrating. It is PTE tax paid on members distributive or pro rata shares of income. It is from line 502CR Part CC line 10 and this amount needs to go on line 43 of the form 502. There is no way to get this onto line 43.
