LTC premium refund for death of spouse

I am self employed and have entered LTC premiums as a deductible expense in 2023 (and prior years). My wife died in 2024, and because of a survivorship benefit, I received partial refunds of the 2023 premiums for both of us in 2024. Do I enter negative numbers for the refunds in form 7206 ?

You should enter the amounts as expenses reimbursed that were deducted in prior years.  As long as you originally entered the premiums on form 7206 then that will have them taxed as regular income but not self-employment income.

In TurboTax scroll down in the wages and income section to 'Less Common Income'.  Click 'Miscellaneous Income' at the bottom and then click 'Reimbursed Deductions from a Prior Year' on the next screen.

Sorry for your loss.
