I recieved a Massachusetts 2K-1 from an inheritance. Do I need to amend my MA tax return?

Probably, if your Massachusetts Schedule 2K-1 is showing MA income. Did you get a Form 1041 Schedule K-1 that may have included the same information? In that case, you may have already included the amounts in your return.

You can start the amend process and see if there is any MA tax due or refund. If there is a change, amend your return. Otherwise you can cancel the amend.

How to amend (change or correct) a return you already filed

Or you can schedule a call with a Live Tax Expert who can go through your return. We can't give you a complete answer without knowing what's already on your tax return and what's on your MA 2K-1.
