Can you clarify what information you entered incorrectly?

Depending upon the input, you can go back into that specific section in the input to correct your entries accordingly.

For example, if you entered too much as state withholdings on your wages, you can do the following and make your corrections.

Go to the Federal section of the program.

  1. Select Income & Expenses
  2. Select Job (W-2)
  3. Click Edit/Add to the right of the Job (W-2)
  4. Proceed to enter your information as prompted
  5. When you get to the state input section in boxes 15-17, you would make your corrections in this section for box 17, State income tax.
