If I stayed at a campground working in Kansas but lived in Utah going home every weekend is it considered that I file nonresident for Kansas?

If I stayed in a campground on weekdays working in Kansas and went home to Utah on weekends and holidays am I a nonresident of Kansas?

If I stayed at a campground working in Kansas but lived in Utah going home every weekend is it considered that I file nonresident for Kansas?

Yes, if you were in Kansas for work but consider Utah your "home" you would file as a nonresident of Kansas.  For state residency purposes, you look at your domicile- which is where you consider your permanent home ("where you want to return").
