I need to know how to delete an extra entry of sales tax....not two lines of the same year time span

Type 'sales tax' in the Search window, then 'Jump to sales tax'.

At the 'Places You Lived' page, choose EDIT and then Verify Dates and Continue.

Verify entry of Sales Tax Rate, and Continue.

At the 'Enter Major Purchases' screen you can delete your entry (screenshot).
