Need to delete a state return I started by accident , but it wont let me

I finished my federal and started a state return which does not apply to me. I was trying to find out how to delete it since it only gives me an "edit" and "start over" option. I dont want to have to start all over help!

this right here is my problem In some cases, you won't see the option to delete, just Edit and Start Over. This is because you either already paid for your state or registered your free version while that state was attached to your return. does this mean i cant delete at all and have to go somewhere to file it? i need this deleted in order to file my taxes

I need to get that state tax form deleted so I can file. i registered my free version while the state was attached my to my return so it inst allowing me to delete it. I do not need to file state return
