I'm receiving an error that the state withholding ID number does not meet the 14 character without hyphens limit and can't edit the form. What can I do to resolve this?

Maybe there are some unnecessary prefixes, or suffixes with that number.

Which state?

Perhaps someone who has that state too, will know of any issues with the number

You didn't take a photo did you?

If you did, or if you uploaded a PDF file.....DON'T

Delete the W-2 and enter all of it's data manually .
