I live in Texas (no state return) but worked & lived for 2 months in S. Carolina as a travel RN.I am not sure how to answer the question about making money out of state?

You should answer Yes to the question "Did you make money in any other states?" You will have to file a South Carolina Non-Resident tax return, and potentially pay tax on the income you earned there.

Other state income question My retirement comes from Maryland Yes we made money in states other than Texas or No we didn't make money in any other states
