It depends but if your only income is earned income (like wages), then you will not have a TN resident state income tax filing.
TN does not tax individuals' earned income, so you are not required to file an individual Tennessee tax return. The state only taxes investment income from stocks and bonds (at a flat rate of 5%). If you have investment income, then you will need to file a TN state income tax return.
