I live in nj and sold my vacation home in florida. do I have to fill out a florida non-resident state return?

This is what it says.

Let’s Make Sure You Need to File a Florida Return

There’s no personal income tax in Florida. Most likely, you don’t need to file a tax return with the state.

The only reason you’d need to file is if you own a Florida-located business, rental property, or farm with assets (office furniture, computers, etc., but not vehicles).
