I keep getting a prompt at the final review that the state ID as entered is incorrect. It is NOT..it is the same state tax id the company has used ... no change

Double check the numbers and/or letters you've entered are correct before continuing, this has happened to me before and it turned out I left out a number. If double checking state ID doesn't work I would advise to contact TurboTax's customer service, as you may need to take a photo of the ID to send to TurboTax through email or talk to respective if calling is an option
