I don't have any mortgage interest adjustment on my CA return, but I get error message that "total adjusted CA interest can't be greater than the total interest".

I tried to file my return, TurboTax keeps giving me this error message "Misc Itemized Deductions Statement: Pt 1, Mortgage Int Adj total adjusted California interest and/or points cannot be greater than the total interest/points. Please modify your adjustment."

On my Schedule CA (540), line 8a, I only have Federal Amounts (carryover from Federal return) in Column A, no adjustments in column B or C, not sure why it keeps giving me error message. The worksheet that was highlighted as error is also blank, doesn't have a value for Mortgage Interest Adjustment.

Even though I put 0 in the box "Pt1, Mortgage Int Adj" that comes with the error message, the same error message still shows up. How do I fix this error? Thanks!
