If you are an IN resident working in KY, then due to the reciprocal agreement between the two states, your KY income is actually $0 and all the taxes withheld should be returned to you.

Look at the link below and if you continue to work in KY, have them stop taking out KY taxes so no return will need to be filed.

How do I input that I'm supposed to get it back though? When I go to file I am only getting back 30ish percent of the amount that was paid out to them using turbo tax. That's what I'm having trouble with. Turbo tax isn't seeing it that way.

Ohhhhh. For some reason that wasn't clicking in my head. So where I put how much I made, I change that to 0 for Kentucky. Then put how much I paid in taxes. Do Indiana normally. I guess that makes sense.

The taxes paid should already be there from when the W-2 was entered in the Federal area.
