You shouldn't have to do much of anything in most cases. Be sure to complete the nonresident TT/State first, then prepare your resident state (usually, there are a few exceptions but you didn't mention the states involved). That way your TT resident state can get the info it needs to prepare that credit for you from the completed nonresident TT/State.
