Has anyone else had their TC-40W loaded up incorrectly by the program? Utah State filing. But the employer information is all mixed up but in the W2 section it is ok

From what I had been informed of by many reliable sources, payroll processing companies experienced many issues with their software unfortunately that has caused many W2s to be incorrectly uploaded when done electronically (the "control number" on the W2 is what is causing this error when it is happening - all depends on the payroll processing company).

The best solution for you is to delete that W2 from the system completely and manually re-enter the information yourself. The IRS is not beginning to process returns until the 12th of February so there is plenty of time to do so as this is not a first come first serve process for them as we all know.
