I moved to IL from NE in August but remained with my same employer. Although I moved in August, my employer didn't switch my state of residence for tax purposes until December. So when I'm reviewing my W-2 my state wages does not equate to how much I made while in IL, a few months of income and tax payments are reflected still under NE.
Should I enter my income based on what's on my W-2s as long as I enter my date that I started living in IL?

Yes, you will file a part-year state return for Illinois and Nebraska. You will be able to allocate how much income you earned in each state- so you have to determine how much. You can do a percentage based on number of days if you are paid the same amount, or you check your paystubs. Because the withholding was incorrect, you will have a larger refund from Nebraska and owe Illinois.
Thanks! So I should calculate what my income while in Illinois actually was, rather than just taking the state wages number on my W-2?
Exactly! You do want to enter the W2 information as it is, but you will be able to do the adjustment in the state tax section for each. Look for the screens below (the Nebraska one is difficult to find and easy to pass over.) @emg1999
