I had taxes held for two states IN and IL for 2021. I later got a W2-C in which only Indiana's county income (box 18) was corrected, everything else remained the same. I have already filed my federal return, roughly a month before the W2-c was issued. My questions are as follows:
Also, when sending the W2-c, do I send the complete page with one return, or do I tear one small section like the main W2?
Please feel free to ask for clarifications.

Q. Do I need to send my W2-c to Illinois also?
A. No. And you do not need to amend IL
Q. Do I need to file an amendment and send it to IRS for federal return?
A. No, and you do not need to amend the federal return.
Q. When sending the W2-c, do I send the complete page with one return, or do I tear one small section like the main W2?
A. Tear off the section indicated for the state return.
Your situation is straight forward since only the county income tax was affected. In Indiana, the county income filing tax is part of the state return.
Thanks for the clear and pointwise response @Hal_Al . I appreciate it.
Regarding the tear-off part: I got that I can send the tear-off part. However, in the W2-c I got the tear-off part doesn't seem self-informatory. I believe sending the full form won't be an issue? I am concerned about the case when they have an automated process and the full form messes it up.
Okay. I will not mail the W2-c with my IL return. I have not yet filled IL, so no question of amendment there. But I got it that there is no need to include the W2-c with it. Right?
Please feel free to ask for any clarification.
