Do I need to remove my home state business income from a state where I was non-resident?

I am filing for NJ as a resident, and NY as a non-resident. Turbo tax automatically added my NJ business income to NY. Should I remove it from new york state allocation?

Yes. The program requires you to manually allocate the income. Remove the NJ business income from NY return.

Hello!

I'm in a similar situation – CA business is showing up on my NY state tax return. I understand that I need to remove the business from the NY return, but I'm unable to edit either the business name or the net income. Could you help me?

Thanks,

Jasmine
