Do I need to file a copy of Federal K-1 with CA540 state return?

This is a simple question.  I received pass through income on Form 1065 K-1 from a TX LLC that derives income only from TX sources.  This 1065 is filed only with the IRS, therefore CA does not get a copy of the partnership return.  Does CA then require that I paper file a copy of my K-1 with my 540 return?

Generally no, if you e-file your CA return and report the K-1 on it, you do not need to mail in a copy of the K-1. If you paper file your return, yes, you do need to include a copy of it with your return.
