As I understand it, AZ income tax forms this year were prepared by the AZ Dept of Revenue using the assumption that (as usual) the state tax code would by law be changed to conform (in general) to the Federal tax code. Is that indeed the case this year? I know there was activity in the Legislature on this issue and the Governor vetoed a bill or two, and I am not sure where things stand now. I am guessing that conformity has been implemented--otherwise there would be a lot of discussion of how to proceed with filing of AZ income taxes this year. Just wondering. . .
