An incorrect value is being copied from federal form 1040 into Massachuetts Form 1 for Wages, salaries, tips. The value in line 3 of Form 1 is 28 times larger than the sum of wages, line 16, from two W-2s. The value entered into line 3 MA form does not exist anywhere on the federal form and it should be coming from line 1a 1040. (I've no entries on 1b through 1i therefore the correct wages value is also reflected in 1z.)

OK, let's look at the obvious things (that you have probably already thought of).
1. Are the box 16 entries on the W-2s the same as the box 1 entries? If not, why not?
2. Did you autoimport the W-2s into TurboTax? (If so, delete them and re-enter them by hand).
3. When you see the W-2 table in TurboTax, are there only the two W-2s there? Did you open them again just to make sure that they say what they ought to say?
4. Do you have any other states on the W-2s?
5. As a last resort, have you deleted both W-2s, confirmed that there are no ghost W-2s, and then re-entered them?
Whatever detail you can add would be great.
Thank you for your help. I had entered 2 extra zeroes on a W-2 that I could not import on box 16. Appreciated.
