It's 3/20/19. Why can't I print out my Hawaii tax returns so I can mail them in? Others have had no trouble for Hawaii forms. It tells me that some of the forms haven't been finalized yet.

Hi all,
OK, I just got off the phone with TT tech support and they solved the problem with Hawaii tax forms not showing up as viewable/printable/available. (And I had already tried the Hotfix tool, and uninstalled and reinstalled TT Home & Business 2018 to no avail.
OK, here's the fix. I am on Windows, by the way.
Quit TurboTax.
Go to Windows C: / Program Files (x86) / TurboTax / Home & Business 2018 / Forms / hii_18
and in the hii_18 folder look for any files with a 12/10/2018 creation date and delete them. (I found two files like that: hiif01.1pe and hiif02.1pe)
Then restart TurboTax and open your tax file. Now, everything should be fine and if you go to the Print Center you will now see the Hawaii tax returns in your View/Print list.
Whew!!

I can't file my return either. the file ( hiifo1.1pe ) in my program is dated 4/1/19 Should I delete this file?
Thanks everyone!
Didn't work. I'm sure it has something to do with upgrading Quicken, which messed up TurboTax. I had to uninstall TurboTax and still wouldn't work. Had to call customer service for help reinstalling. State return worked before the Quicken and TurboTax problems.
I did delete the hiif01.1pe files that I found. I also ran the TTDHotfixApp.zip tool too.
Thanks all!
Just got off the phone with tech support... Their suggestion was to go to Hawaii tax website and efile thru their website... Gee, anybody going to refund my money that I paid for the state program?
Has anybody discovered a fix not all ready mentioned here? I've done the hotfix, done a manual update and deleted the hiif01.1pe and hilifo2.1pe files.
Thanks again!
Running windows 10. I did just uninstall and reinstall TT. Did the updates, still won't work. Deleted the hiif01.1pe and hiif02.1pe , restarted opened tt, no change. After all the headaches with Quicken I don't want to touch it! This is so frustrating!

I just spoke in person to the Hawaii Tax Department customer service window (I work in the same building).
The solution is to print the current 2018 form, fill out the information, and mail or hand deliver your return to the tax department. The customer support person said this is acceptable.

How I printed my return even though it says you can not file yet pending the form update, is I clicked on the button/link in Turbo Tax to preview my return. I creates a PDF that you can print.
