Unfortunately, no. Connecticut's registration fee is not based on the vehicle’s value and only fees based on the vehicle's value are deductible. ;(
I believe property taxes are deductible. I am always confused where to enter them in Turbo Tax because it seems to want you to put under vehicle registration fees, but I just listed it under other property taxes paid
What kind of property taxes are you talking about? Real estate property taxes? These have a separate place to enter them. Ad valorem taxes (taxes based on the value of the vehicle) on your car or other property? These go under personal property taxes.
