Can CA SDI be refunded in tax return?

I am working from home at Michigan while my company is in CA.

We use Justworks for Payroll service and I am currently paying both CA and MI taxes.

Due to COVID-19, I couldn't travel and all CA taxes will be refunded. 

Then, is CA SDI subject to return?

Since CA SDI is not reported or claimed on a tax return (other than for  a possible Federal itemized state tax deduction), you would have to ask your question to the CA EDD that administers it.      My understanding is out of state employees can be covered by CA SDI but it depends on the circumstances.
