CA state refunds now later than late!

I'm wondering if others are facing the same issue?

I efiled Fed and CA state on March 12th. The Feds paid in 2-1/2 weeks. The state "where's my refund" page said "call if it's over 4 weeks". Well today, April 13th is over 4 weeks, I thought I'd check the website one more time before I called and it now says "Call if it's more than 3 months".  

In my over 40 years in this state it has progressively got worse and worse. Now they keep my refund - which is substantial due to overpayment of estimated taxes -  interest free for another three months.   

It's a helluva way to run a railroad.

Wow, that is interesting. We are hearing more stories of states running later this year. The federal changed laws last July and the states had to decide what they were doing. Some states are still deciding, it has been an interesting year. Best wishes!
