CA State filing error - State wont issue me refund until corrected

Hi,

The state owes me a $413 refund per my records and returns.

I called the CA Franchise Tax Board yesterday and they told me there was an error that has to be corrected before they can issue me the refund.

He indicated that Stat Form 540 line 13: $102,932 (Federal Income) has to match the CA Adjustments Form (CA 540) LINE 28. Currently, it does Not exactly match.

PLEASE, I need help with this. He advised me to contact TurboTax. He indicated that you can fix this relatively quickly and submit the corrected Adjustments Form (540) for me.

Please respond as this is a priority for me,

Regards,

CA Form 540 Line 13 is "federal adjusted gross income from federal Form 1040 or 1040-SR, line 11".

Schedule CA (540) California Adjustments, Line 28, is "Total Itemized Deductions plus Other Adjustments."

It would be virtually impossible for these two lines to exactly match.
