CA Schedule S Error (2020 Filing)

I moved to CA from NY in 2020 but continued working for my NY-based employer, any attempt at filling out Schedule S seems to give me an error that the double-taxed amount in the other state (NY) must not exceed the amount double-taxed in CA.  But the entire amount of wages earned as a CA resident was from a NY source (and taxed by NY) and the numbers I'm inputting are identical (i.e. other state is *not* higher).  Just to test it out I even tried inputting a lower number for the NY double-taxed amount--same issue.  I've gone over the instructions for Schedule S from the FTB and I don't see any reason for TT to be giving me this error?

I searched and see someone else has posted about this particular issue, but it has not been responded to yet.

Same problem. I spent around an hour on the phone yesterday and the support person (Pamela) carefully listened and worked with me on this. She didn't understand what the problem is, as she was following the logic. We also tried different numbers and the only one that worked was when we Zero'd out the amount, but then my tax credit disappeared. This is very frustrating and I'm still waiting for a call back. My guess is they don't have an answer yet, but it seems that its a coding error?

Yes I'm having the same problem and there is another thread with others experiencing the same issue.  I plan to check back and see if Intuit corrects it, otherwise file a paper return as it seems correct, even though it's flagged as an "error" by Turbo Tax.

I agree that it's pretty likely a coding error and hope they fix it soon so that those of us who prefer to file early can finish things off electronically.  Thank you for confirming it's not an isolated thing.
