Every year I recieve some deduction for our Brightstart Contributions. However I can not find it this year for Illinois Taxes. All I see is the ABLE program contributions not Brightstart. Where am I to enter this?

As you go through the Illinois return, look for the section that says Here's the income that Illinois handles differently

On that page there is a section for Education

Click Start beside the line labeled College savings and prepaid tuition plan contributions.

You can add your Brightstar Contribution in your Illinois return along with the account number.  Even though it says Able 1, it is perfectly acceptable to enter Brightstar contributions in this section. You can reference this Turbo Tax link, to verify that what i just said is correct. this is true for the turbo Tax online version as well as the Turbo Tax desktop.
