If Mississippi is now your state of Legal Residence (the state where you will live when you are on leave or when you leave the military), then you will need to file taxes in Mississippi, not Georgia, unless Georgia withheld taxes from your navy income.

When your Legal Residence changes, you need to file DD Form 2058, State of Legal Residence Certificate at your base legal office or base finance office.
