ALabama needs a driver's license to e-file. Program asks for Alabama license. Mine is another state how do i enter that

If you are trying to e-file an AL tax return and lack an AL driver license or AL state ID, then you might not be able to e-file the state return.  In that event, print, sign and mail your state return.  Some states are very picky and will only allow you to e-file if you have an ID for the state.
