Good afternoon. I have a question in regards to the 502LU form. On Thursday, April 15th, Maryland released the 502LU form on the Comptroller of Maryland web site. This form is available for subtraction from income of unemployment compensation. When will this form be updated on TurboTax? I have been patiently waiting for over a month for this form to file my MD state taxes on TurboTax. I will really appreciate your assistance in regards to this matter.

it is now 4/22 and 502 LU is still not available on turbotax!! WHY ? More importantly, WHEN????
It appears that TurboTax just added form 502LU to the CD/desktop software (and likely the Online software as well).
When you enter the Maryland interview, you will see a screen titled "Maryland Benefits from Unemployment Compensation" where you can override the calculation for the taxable amount of unemployment consumption (this should not be necessary, the $10,200 was automatically subtracted).
This will generate form 502LU and add it to your return.
Sorry for the confusion, but with all the daily changes, it is hard to even us to keep up. For example, they haven't added this form to the state forms availability list, but it is obviously there in the return.
I filed early then about a month ago i got the email from TT saying I needed to amend my states. I looked around and on the md comptroller it say I have to file 502lu but Turbotax keeps trying to force me to use the 502x. WHat do I do. I have already paid TT 80$ I dont want to go out and pay another tax guy.
File the 502x amended tax return and it will include the new 502LU form to go with it.
OH geez thank you.
