Webfile Number

I am attempting to complete the filing of my State Taxes and I'm on the page of the program under the "File" tab and I'm being asked to fill in the WebFile Number. The page says "Your webfile number is a security code that is printed in the upper right corner of the notification letter you should have received." What notification letter is being referred and whom should I have received this notification letter from? The guidance provided on this page is very poor.

Several states use the term "webfile," so you should probably say which state you are referring to.

What kind of tax return are you preparing? Underneath your question it says you are using the Business Edition (partnerships, corporations, multi-member LLC, estates/trusts, etc.)
