NC state return will not transmit for e-filing

After completing my federal and NC state returns, going through all the checks etc and got the go ahead to file I payed for the state return, clucked transmit and suddenly I get field that says there is a problem. It says I can not put my name on the D400 worksheet. I went around and around and I could not get out of the loop. Finally I went back and said I would not e file state return and I was able to file federal return. Seems there is a bug in the program I downloaded on my Mac. Anyone else have this problem? I have used TurboTax for over 20 years and never had a problem, but now I have to mail the NC return and contact my credit card company to stop the payment for my failed e-filing.

IF you haven't mail-filed yet, you could try deleting the state forms entirely, and then re-creating all the forms by walking thru the NC interview again:;

Here's the directions for Windows . MAC might be similar. (Couldn't find a MAC...but maybe not allowed for a MAC ?)

THESE INSTRUCTIONS DO NOT WORK. I DELETED MY NC STATE RETURN. SAVED FILE. CLOSED TURBOTAX AND REOPENED. CREATED NEW NC STATE TAX RETURN. TRIED TO TRANSMIT, AND AGAIN IT FAILED.

WE NEED A WORK AROUND. I PAID $20 for electronic transmission. If you cannot transmit, refund my $$$.

The North Carolina Individual Income Tax Return for residents, Form D-400, is not available for e-filing using TurboTax until 02/24/2022

I cannot not get my NC return to file either. The fed has filed but I keep getting a message that forms aren't available for NC although I received an email from Turbo Tax saying they were available. I've already paid for filing both Fed and NC.

The North Carolina Individual Income Tax Return Form D-400 is not yet available for e-filing. It is estimated to be available on 02/24/2022
