Kentucky State Tax Error

When doing the review to e file an error popped up? It said I had an error of a missing EIN or SSN for the dependent care credit and was not eligible to e file. However, I did not claim this credit and it never offered me an option to correct it. I have been through everything multiple times now and can't find it anywhere. What can I do so I can e file this return?

I also received the same error about state e-filing. I switched to turbo since they seemed to be better than H&R! I was wrong. My guess is they will hold off fixing this glitch until after Feb. 15 when they can charge instead of letting you file free. Back to H&R Block. I guess they were better.

I'm also getting the same error. Five days is ample time for a company as large as Intuit to solve the problem. I suppose they haven't received enough complaints to worry about it. I will be using a different product in the future.

This issue is marked as solved however I am still having the exact same issue. I have checked for updates and the software shows no updates are available.

Well, everyone...I bid you goodbye. I have filed with H&R Block which also ended up giving me a higher return. I need to get these filed and I do not have time for this TT nonsense. I hope for those who decide to wait it out, I hope it is resolved for you all soon. Have a great 2022 everyone!

I cannot e-file KY state due to missing EIN or social for a dependent care provider. I have no dependents. I applied for no dependent care credits. How can I e-file?

This has been a pain for over a week and the turbotax system seems to be inventing forms ...Film credt, child credit, 199a qualified income credit.... NONE of this should have been asked for.....

The way I was able to E-File my state...

I followed anothers advice saved the file backed out and restarted..... Them I went to forms and deleted the extra form it was asking me to fill out.... more then once

I have tried doing this several times & still get the same message when I try to file my Ky state taxes. Frankly, I’m tired of entering the same info over & over & deleting forms several times. Just so it still doesn’t work!! UGH!!!

Try deleting the information in the forms before you delete the entire form. It worked for me. Good luck. TurboTax is way less than favorable this year!
