Kentucky State Tax Error

When doing the review to e file an error popped up? It said I had an error of a missing EIN or SSN for the dependent care credit and was not eligible to e file. However, I did not claim this credit and it never offered me an option to correct it. I have been through everything multiple times now and can't find it anywhere. What can I do so I can e file this return?

I called customer support, and they gave me the internal IT number.

Internal IT had no fix either and asked me to call back to customer support.

I called today and spoke with someone from Turbo tax, this has been going on since the 3rd, today being the 6th. That’s 3 days of trying to file. That’s way too long for this type of issue that effects so many fillers. I was asked what state I was filing in and I said Ky, oh yes that’s the probably woth the glitch getting the SSN or EIN care provider dependent! Come one Turbo Tax, let’s get this fixed! 3 days is way too long

I'm experiencing the same issue. Hopefully Turbotax helps find a solution. There is no information in the chat to help resolve this.

What is the turbo tax phone number to file a complaint? Has anyone done such? Did Intuit issue any type of tag number which we all could then call them and also add our name to the complaint ticket?

I'm still not able to get my state tax to go through due to it saying there is missing ssn or enn numbers, has this problem been fixed for anyone

Nope. Still not fixed. Someone here said they spoke with someone at Turbo Tax that said it should be fixed by the 10th. Why it would take that long, I have no idea but it’s ridiculous.

Talked to others who used different online tax filing they were able to efile ky return. They received no error message, no dependent ssn entered. This is turbo tax problem
