I am CA resident required to file CA 540.
I am getting some error in Turbo tax e-filing CA return because of error in filing form 3840.
Can I e-file CA state return without FTB 3840 and then only send FTB 3840 to Franchise Tax Board by mail.
Do I need to attach 1040, 540 along with FTB 540 ? If that is the case, looks like e-filing CA state return will not make any sense without Form 3840 and then again send everything again by mail.
