If you want to downgrade to a less expensive version of the software you can clear and start over....but you will lose anything you have entered so far.

If you were self-employed last tax year, it will carry forward to this year. To delete this, you would have to delete Schedule C (if you reported income that was not on a 1099-NEC) or delete the 1099-NEC form carried forward.

To delete your Schedule C, please follow the instructions below:

  1. Open your return in TurboTax.
  2. Search for Schedule C with the magnifying glass tool on the top of the page.
  3. Select the Jump to Schedule C link in the search results.
  4. If you get to a self-employment summary screen, delete the self-employment income line with the trash can icon.
  5. If you get to the question Did you have any self-employment income or expenses? answer No

To delete any 1099-NEC's that may have carried forward, please follow the instructions below:

  1. Search 1099-NEC with the magnifying glass tool on the top of the page.
  2. Go to the Jump to 1099-NEC link in the search results.
  3. Use the trash can tool to delete one of your 1099-NEC's on the 1099-NEC Summary page.

As xmasbaby0 stated, if you are trying to downgrade from the self-employed version, then you can do so as long as you haven't submitted payment, deducted the TurboTax fee from your refund, or registered your product. To clear and start over, please see How do I clear and start over in TurboTax Online?
