Foreign Tax Credit Phone Help

We are planning to upgrade from Free to TurboTax Self Employed . Can we get telephone support for any Foreign Tax Credit questions with this version?

Thank you for getting back to me so quickly, HeatherPLO. To clarify, I understand the Live version has unlimited phone support, but it is beyond our budget this year. We had the help we needed last year with your discontinued Free version. I was hoping upgrading to the Self Employed $119 version would offer the same level of phone support.

Is that correct or is it available?

Without knowing the extent of your tax situation, you may have to upgrade to Live within Self-Employed. You are always welcome to post specific tax questions here as well for further assistance.

Final question: Is there telephone support in Self Employed?

I remember last year, the support person worked with me with my return open on her screen so I could follow along on the questionable parts. I guess my question is: Is that still offered on the non-live Self Employed version?

Yes, you can request to speak to tax support at live support so they can look at your screen and guide you further.
