this was through Rover, earned $110 total. Necessary to file a schedule C?

If that was your only income in 2021, no you don't need to file a tax return. But if you have other income and are filing a return, you must include ALL of your income, including the $110 from Rover. Enter the income, the Schedule C will only need a few pieces of information to complete and TurboTax will walk you through it.

Thanks for confirming, sounds like I have to file Schedule C since I had W-2 wages in addition to the gig work wages. Can anyone recommend a free filing DIY tax site that would cover the Schedule C form for someone who makes under $45k/year, or something more affordable than TurboTax since they no longer offer the free edition?
