I received my first RMD in 2017. Shouldn't I receive a 1099 of some kind for my 2017 taxes?

My first RMD was received in 2017. I have not received any type form to be included on my federal tax forms. Should I have received something? Should I include on my 2017 tax form? HELP

Yes you should have a 1099R. Contact the custodian of the account to see if they sent it or if it is available online or available for import.
