I recommend deleting the form. In fact, you could delete the whole state. Most states are pretty quick to redo and AL is one of them. However, AL changed some laws in February that are not yet in the program. If you are affected, you may want to wait to file your state return or you may want to file now and amend later.

I actually found these instructions just before reading your reply, and it worked. I was able to delete the form, then Turbo Tax prompted me again to answer the original question, which I answered differently. So the problem is solved and I am so relieved. Thank you so much.
