Why is Qualified Roth Contribution being taxed in MA state return?

I've entered a qualified roth distribution and it shows as non-taxable for Federal, but in my state return (MA), it's including the distribution amount.    I'm under 59 1/2, but it's a withdrawal of contributions and Roth had been open for 5+ years.

You are correct. Here is the key to fixing that.

When you go through the Massachusetts interview, there is a page entitled "Taxable IRA/Keogh Distribution." This is where you can enter under "Contributions Previously Taxed by Massachusetts" the amount that should not be taxed.
